1) Stormwater run-off from asphalt areas is detained and treated within enviormentally friendly and attractive "green street" bio-swales. 2) An exstensive network of recreational trails and pathways promote walking, and provide easy access to many amenities. 3) Native landscaping was preserved and enhanced to protect and attract wildlife. 4) Existing mature trees have been preserved and integrated into the design. 5) Newly created wetlands are kept hydrated by treated stormwater run-off from the community. 6) Created, restored and enhanced wetland areas to a natural state. 7) Fleur de Lawn is a low maintenance flowering eco-lawn that, once established, needs little watering, mowing and no fertilizer. This eco-lawn can be found throughout the community. |
